Data centres have become critical infrastructure, underpinning the digital services, automation and artificial intelligence that increasingly shape economies and everyday life.
Areim entered the data centre sector out of curiosity and a strong conviction that real estate, digital infrastructure and responsible societal development were becoming inseparable. Our investment in EcoDataCenter in 2018 marked the start of a broader capability build across the value chain, deepening our understanding of power systems, permitting frameworks and customer requirements, while establishing long-term relationships with municipalities, grid operators and multinational customers.
Today, we combine long-term capital, power-ready real assets and operational expertise to invest in and develop data centres. By assessing power, grid connectivity, permitting, fibre access, technical requirements and evolving customer needs as a whole, we aim to support the continued development of the Nordic data centre sector, enabling critical operations to thrive while delivering resilient, long-term returns for our investors.
